Learning Objectives

  • Students are expected to improve their designing competence and personal skills of criticizing, thinking, making artistic and formal research, conforming with mutual working with different disciplines in the design of private or public environment from which groups or individuals benefit with different purposes.
  • Examining the functionality of all open and closed environments with their sizes and fittings, students are expected to plan human factors within the scope of physiological, ergonomic, psychological and socio-economic criteria; organize scientific, artistic and technical theories within architectural integrity of interior architecture.
  • They are expected to unify structure, size, function, individuals and society with scientific, artistic and technical content of the theories such as form, colour, material, technique, timing and economy inside of the pot of knowledge, skill and designing ability.
  • Students who are exposed to theoretical explanations and experimental and practical applications such as vision, perception, thinking, examining, inspection, generating ideas, application forms, researching, comparison methods and analysis-synthesis methods develop their designing skills.
