Students are expected to;

  1. PO1-Acts in accordance with ethical principles, evaluates professional and ethical responsibilities, and explains the standards used in Industrial Engineering applications. (MÜDEK ix)
    • 1.1 Has knowledge of Industrial Engineering responsibilities and ethics;
    • 1.2 Acts in accordance with ethical principles;

  2. PO2-Selects and uses modern techniques and tools necessary for Industrial Engineering applications. (MÜDEK iv)
    • 3.1 Develops modern techniques and tools required for Industrial Engineering applications;
    • 3.2 Selects modern techniques and tools required for Industrial Engineering applications;
    • 3.3 Uses modern techniques and tools required for Industrial Engineering applications.
  3. PO3-Uses information and communication technologies and relevant software at a level required by Industrial Engineering, at least at the level of the European Computer Driving License. (MÜDEK iv)
    • 9.1 Uses current and common computer software, information and communication technologies used in the field of Industrial Engineering;
    •  9.2 Identifies strengths and weaknesses of existing software used in Industrial Engineering.
  4. PO4-Analyzes, formulates, and solves complex Industrial Engineering problems. For this purpose, applies appropriate analytical methods and modeling techniques. (MÜDEK ii)
    • 1.1 Identifies, defines, formulates, and solves Industrial Engineering problems in organizations producing goods and services;
    • 1.2 Selects and applies the most appropriate analytical and modeling techniques for solving Industrial Engineering problems.
  5. PO5-Has sufficient knowledge in mathematics, science, and Industrial Engineering and applies this knowledge to complex Industrial Engineering problems. (MÜDEK i)

  6. PO6-Designs experiments to examine complex Industrial Engineering problems, conducts them, collects data, and analyzes the results. (MÜDEK v)
    • 4.1 Designs and conducts experiments to examine complex Industrial Engineering problems;
    • 4.2 Collects, analyzes, and interprets data for examining complex Industrial Engineering problems.
  7. PO7-Explains business practices such as project management, risk management, and change management, analyzes entrepreneurship and innovation, and evaluates sustainable development. (MÜDEK x)

  8. PO8-Explains the universal and societal impacts of Industrial Engineering practices on health, environment, and safety, analyzes contemporary issues, and evaluates the legal consequences of Industrial Engineering solutions. (MÜDEK xi)
    • 10.1 Has basic knowledge on environment, health, and safety;

    • 2.1 Has the ability to design a process in an organization producing goods or services under realistic constraints and conditions to meet specific requirements;
    • 2.2 Has the ability to apply modern design methods in solving Industrial Engineering problems.
  11. PO11-Communicates effectively in Turkish, both orally and in writing; uses at least a B1 level of a foreign language according to the European Language Portfolio, writes and comprehends effective reports, prepares design and production reports, delivers effective presentations, and gives and receives clear instructions. (MÜDEK vii)
