Programme Outcomes

a. To be able to use Mathematics and Sciences in solving mechanical engineering problems in subjects specific to engineering units. (MÜDEK i)

b. To gain the ability to define, formulate and solve complex Mechanical Engineering problems by using appropriate analysis and solution methods. (MÜDEK ii)

c. To gain the skills to understand and analyze the required system, system components or process. (MÜDEK iii)

d. To gain the ability to choose the technical tools brought by the current technology that will require the analysis and solution of the problems encountered in Mechanical Engineering applications and to use information technologies effectively. (e-library, communication, research, software development, ability to use up-to-date mechanical engineering analysis and drawing programs) (MÜDEK iv,v)

e.To gain the ability to design experiments, conduct experiments, collect data, analyze and interpret results in order to examine the engineering problems encountered in the field of Mechanical Engineering and research topics specific to it. (MÜDEK ii,v)

f. To gain individual working skills with the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams with a team spirit. (MÜDEK vi)

g. To gain the ability to write and prepare written reports, to present effectively, to give and receive clear and understandable instructions in Turkish and English. (MÜDEK vii)

h. By embracing the importance of life long learning, to gain awareness, access to information, and the ability to constantly renew oneself by following the developments in science and technology today. (MÜDEK viii)

i. To gain the ability to have professional and ethical responsibility awareness, to act appropriately, and to have knowledge about the standards used in engineering applications. (MÜDEK ix)

j. Entrepreneurship, awareness about innovation, as well as knowledge and skills about sustainable development in applications such as project management and risk management in business life applications. (MÜDEK x)

k. To gain knowledge and skills about the effects of the problems encountered in the field of engineering today on health and environmental safety in global and social conditions, as well as the ability to raise awareness about the legal consequences. (MÜDEK xi)
