Date: 18 January 2022 Announcement from Rectorate of Beykent University Dear Students, In response to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and the new Omicron variant, based on the information regarding case management provided in the “Applications Guide for Campus Environments (2021),” published by the Council of Higher Education - for the protection of the health of our students, academic and administrative staff, the decision has been taken that: For the 2021–2022 Academic Year Fall semester *excluding the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry: Final and resit exams for all (excluding *fully-online university distance-education programs) associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degree courses, held online since the beginning of the term, will take place online. Final and resit exams for on-campus associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degree courses and distance-education program courses will be held on campus in reduced seating capacity classrooms. Continually monitoring the course of the pandemic, as well as the directives coming from the Ministry of Health and the Council of Higher Education, all updates will be rapidly assessed by the university’s relevant committees and our Rectorate.
